Breakfast Gift Baskets – No Better Gift Basket!
Breakfast Gift Baskets – There is NO Better Gift Basket!
Make Breakfast Easy With A Breakfast Gift Basket
My first memories of Breakfast Gift Baskets are still fresh as eggs for me.

Growing up in our house was chaotic at best in the mornings! First we heard mom up and rummaging through the house, then dad shortly behind her, preparing to take care of the morning chores before he could get ready for work. We grew up on a farm where you had to rise with the sun to get everything done before you headed out for either rush hour traffic to go to work, or the school bus that got to our house and back 2 hours before school started and 2 hours after it ended, because we lived so far away.
Dad was the primary breakfast cook – not because mom slept in, oohh no . . . she was BUSY! It was because dad made a better breakfast chef than mom and we all knew it, because her cooking skills became a running family joke that mom put up with for her lifetime. Dad always made something special to put on moms plate -like a pancake snowman – and called it her special “breakfast gift.” It was about then that my brother and I started rolling our eyes, laughing out loud, and groaning, ” . . .Oh brother,” at no one in particular.
Well, . . . we all know it and it has become a fact that can’t be denied – ‘breakfast‘ is the most important meal of the day. That’s just one reason why breakfast gift baskets are so special.
This meal gets so much attention because it comes after a break of 8 – 10 hours; hence your blood sugar level is low. Since your body has gone without food for that extended period, it needs nourishment to kick-start its day. Therefore, “breakfast” is considered a nutritiously important and essential meal of the day.
Breakfast Gift Baskets benefit both, young and old. It is the key to blast off your muscles and your day.
Studies show that people who eat a healthy daily breakfast are more likely to:
- Consume more vitamins, minerals and less of fat and cholesterol.
- Experience increased strength and endurance.
- Have better concentration and productivity all day long.
- Exercise more control over their weight
- Benefit from lower cholesterol levels
Also, children who eat breakfast are likely to have better concentration, problem-solving skills and eye-hand coordination. They are more alert, creative, and less likely to miss school days.
If you think skipping breakfast will help you lose weight, think again. By passing breakfast over, your body goes into starvation mode and makes you crave snacks - especially sweets. Impulsive snacking on unhealthy foods can lead to weight gain.
For those who want to add fruit to their breakfast gift baskets, consider these Popular options: Apples, Pears Citrus: Oranges, grapefruits, nectarines, tangerines, and Clementine’s, Pineapples, Grapes and Berries, Unique Fruits: Depending on the type of breakfast gift basket you are sending, you may decide to include unique fruits – consider adding kiwi, star fruit, plantains, and even coconuts if the recipient enjoys this.
So, I raise my glass of morning orange juice and salute the two finest people who ever existed and who helped teach us the importance of not only breakfast, but special breakfast gift baskets. Here’s to you, dad and mom!
